Op een Crysis fansite liet Steven Bender van Crytek wat informatie vallen over Crysis 2. Zo zal de ontwikkelaar nog meer nadruk leggen op graphics. Ze willen zo het grafisch niveau nog meer de hoogte in gooien. Men hoopt zo de fotorealistische filmkwaliteit te behalen.
